DOE is starting projects with universities, electric power utilities company’s, DOE’s National Laboratories, and local governments have been selected to use solar technologies in US cities.  They are asking them to help with technical challenges, and to ensure with reliable connectivity with the electrical grid system, and train a new generational group of people to install and maintain Solar Energy Systems.

Also continue to pursue new scientific breakthroughs to increase efficiency of  Solar Technologies.
